Founder-led studio

I build the web like infrastructure. Quiet, careful, built to last.

I'm Gizem, founder of The Good People Studio — a decade spent designing, building, and scaling digital experiences for ambitious teams, including years on Framer's founding Customer Success team. Less a biography than a set of field notes on how I work, and what I believe.

01 / Origin

Where it began

It started with a simple fascination: how things actually work.

It started with a simple fascination: how things actually work.

I’ve spent more than a decade building websites and digital experiences. Before this, I built and ran my own studio — and learned, the hard way, what it takes to make work that lasts.

02 / Framer

Inside the product

Then I joined Framer, and learned the web at scale.

Then I joined Framer, and learned the web at scale.

For years I helped teams build, optimize, and scale — as part of Framer’s founding Customer Success team. I partnered with startups, scale-ups, and enterprise organizations, and went deep on the hard parts: enterprise-scale ecosystems, CMS architecture, search, performance, integrations, design systems, and migrations. Some of the largest Framer implementations in production passed through my hands.

03 / The Studio

Why it exists

Most teams launch a website. Few build a system that can grow.

Most teams launch a website. Few build a system that can grow.

Most teams launch a website. Few build a system that can grow.

After years of watching the same pattern, I started The Good People Studio — to help ambitious teams build websites as connected ecosystems, not isolated pages. Intentionally small, founder-led, and deeply involved in every project.

04 / What I Believe

Principles

A short list I keep coming back to.

A short list I keep coming back to.

A short list I keep coming back to.

01

Honesty compounds.

02

Fairness matters.

03

Karma has a long memory.

04

Hard work gets noticed.

05

Good people win.

06

Trust is earned slowly, lost quickly.

07

Long-term beats short-term.

08

Transparency creates better work.

09

Kindness and high standards coexist.

10

Reputation is built project by project.

Do good work. Be good people.

Do good work. Be good people.

Do good work. Be good people.

05 / Outside Work

Beyond the screen

The same curiosity shows up off the screen, too.

The same curiosity shows up off the screen, too.

01

Windsurfing

Reading the wind, adjusting constantly.

02

Time outdoors

Where the good ideas tend to arrive.

03

How things work

I take most things apart, eventually.

04

Continuous learning

Always a little out of my depth.

05

Building things

With pixels, or with my hands.

06

Long walks

Thinking time, disguised as a walk.

07

Travel & people

Different backgrounds, sharper perspective.

08

Cycling

Long rides, empty roads, a clear head.

09

Swimming

Laps until the noise quiets down.

10

Running

Where problems quietly solve themselves.

Above all, the sea — the one place my mind finally stops thinking.

One founder, fully embedded. I take on a small number of partners each quarter, so every system gets the attention it deserves.
